Product overview: Fluke SB140 Sound Beacon
Optimize Your Leak Detection Process with the Fluke SB140 Sound Beacon
Ensure the integrity of your non-pressurized vessels with the Fluke SB140 Sound Beacon. This innovative method transforms leak detection and tightness testing by placing the SB140 Sound Beacon inside the vessel and using Fluke Acoustic Imagers from the outside to visually locate escaping ultrasound through weld beads, gaskets, seals, hatches, or windows. It is ideal for quality control in aviation, automotive, railroads, clean rooms, and more.
The Fluke SB140 Sound Beacon is specifically designed for tightness applications and works seamlessly with Fluke acoustic imagers. The selected ultrasound frequency travels long distances through air with minimal signal attenuation, allowing the sound inside a vessel to effectively escape through any openings and be visualized by the Fluke camera. The ultrasound frequency of the SB140 Sound Beacon is also easily detected by Fluke acoustic imagers, enabling precise visual pinpointing of potential leak points. Using the Fluke acoustic imager in “Beacon Mode” simplifies the process even further.
